Kettle Korn Shown at left is the 34,000 BTU Gas Fired Kettle Korn setup, which includes the heavy-duty aluminum kettle, Caramel Corn paddle and Lexan lid (for operator safety). Start with 8 oz. of oil and three kernels of corn. When those pop, add one pound of corn and about 1/2 pound of sugar. Stir as needed to complete the popping cycle. Add the sugar earlier for darker – later for lighter. |
